Member Services Manager Dave does a lot of things around our clubhouse. You may see him at the front desk, for instance, grinning and helping members. Or ministering to our computers when they balk. Or, when people want to learn about Nature’s Neighborhood at Mountain Park, directing the marketing for our association. And he’s a mean barbeque chef whenever a grill‘s hot. Pretty capable guy. Been in customer service positions for 16 years and worked in Lake Oswego for 10. Wouldn’t want to be anywhere else, either. “I really love this community,” he says. What’s Dave do with his rare off-duty moments? Divides them, he says between music, movies, his family, the occasional video game, the Trailblazers…and his hat rack.

Brittany Magallanes
Melissa takes care of all our data entry for new association members and existing account updates, which is a demanding, detail-laden task. Mistakes are not well received, so she chases down facts — and accurate recording of them — with diligence. “I used to process data entry for two insurance companies while taking constant phone calls,” she says. ”I know how to concentrate.” Melissa likes the natural surroundings at Mountain Park, the friendly work environment, and the fact she learns something new almost every day. In her spare time, she also does photography, graphic design, concert-going and cooking. But her main focus, of course, is keeping track.
Favorite Mt. Park principle: #10 Get Better
There’s a lot of interest in our facilities and programs from community people who aren’t association members. So we’ve put Brittany Magallanes in charge of making sure these folks are enrolled in patron memberships (which allows use of the clubhouse for a fee). She’s perfect for the job. She works the front desk so she knows who’s who, and has served as a supervisor and swimming lifeguard at other clubs so she understands our services, digs the outdoors, and welcomes the unusual. She also enjoys spare time where she can read, play outdoors with her husband, dog, and nephews, and cook up new culinary creations…frankly because then she can patronize herself
