FITNESS

FITNESS CLASSES

The lower level of the clubhouse offers two fitness studios: one for mind and body classes - the other for group fitness classes. Classes are available at no charge (unless otherwise noted) to residents of Mountain Park.

SPORTS COURT

The clubhouse has a multi-purpose sports court, ready for basketball, volleyball, and several other recreational programs for children and adults. A balcony along one side offers prime spectator views of sports activities.

CARDIO/STRENGTH TRAINING

An open-floor plan weight and cardio room offers a variety of circuit training, free weight, and cardiovascular training equipment. This room is a large, climate-controlled, naturally lighted space.

TRX TRAINING

Train on the TRX suspension system with Fitness Manager and TRX Certified trainer Rena Bohm. 

PERSONAL TRAINING

Especially effective if you are having trouble committing to an exercise program, personal training is specific to your goals and schedule. One on one training will help you reap the many benefits of exercise including weight loss, increased muscle tone, agility, and overall improvement of physical health.

All sessions are one hour in length. Training options for groups are also available. As with all amenities, guests of Mountain Park residents are welcome to participate in personal training. Sessions should be scheduled at least one day in advance by calling 503-635-3561. Sessions may also be scheduled in person at the fitness service desk. Payment must be paid up front when scheduling.

TRX
Join instructor Rena for TRX. Classes include intense but fun exercises that improve balance, speed/agility, muscle strength, and cardio fitness using the TRX system. This month long class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-9AM. Cost is $50 for members, and $65 for non-members for the entire month. Drop in rates per class are just $6.50 for members and $8 for non-members. Sign ups are happening now at the front desk!


Weight Room Orientation
This free class runs every Saturday at 10:30am and is available to all members who want to recieve training and information on the machines. Stop by the front desk to register as there is only 5 spots available.
Mt. Park Running Map of the Week
With all the beautiful natural scenery, why not take advantage of the 8 miles of trails we have in the neighborhood? Every week, we will feature a running trail in the Mt. Park area from mapmyrun.com. Click on the map for a printable version, or stop by the front desk for a limited amount of copies.
Zumba Gold is a Hit!
Join us for Zumba Gold. This specialized class is made just for the more mature adult and is a great workout on an easier scale. Registration is happening now for May's class, and the cost is only $25 for members, and $40 for non-members and runs for four weeks every Friday from
12-1pm.
Spin Class is Back!
July 15th marks the triumphant return of Spin! Now, a drop in class only, sessions will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:15-7:15am. Rates per session are:

$6.50 for members & $8 for non-members
